Does apptrap 1.2.3 automatically move files tp trash download#You also have to make sure your download client downloads only complete files (or else rclone may start copying over incomplete files over to your Synology). Deleted torrents are also synced to Synology, so I don't have to delete twice. Once Medusa has finished downloading and processing the shows, I go over the the seedbox periodically to clear out torrents (I use private trackers so I seed for a while before deleting them). Run a terminal screen to run a script that runs rclone at a certain interval (I set mine to every 10 minutes). This is the same folder Medusa is monitoring for post-processing. Set Medusa to watch a local folder on the Synology which gets new downloads from the seedbox (below)Ĭonfigure rclone on the seedbox to mount a drive that links to your Synology (I use SFTP). Medusa docker on my Synology to automate downloading the shows, which connects to my seedbox bittorrent client (I use ruTorrent) Local is always mirrored from remote (so new files in local will be removed if they don't exist in remote) and you can shape the bandwidth usage so that you don't consume 100% of your network capacity if you're concerned about that. This script ensures that lftp is running only once (if there's a really large set of files we don't want to start a second clone), does parallel downloads and is easy to reuse for multiple directories. Mirror -c -P4 -delete -log=$LOG $remote_dir $local_dir Lftp -p 22 -u $login,$pass sftp://$host << EOF Here's basically the script that I use: #!/bin/bash I set it up on my local machine to do a pull based sync since I'm confident my seedbox will have better uptime than my home server. I've used LFTP on a cron to sync for a few years now. Throwing that out as an option if that's easier for someone to explain. Essentially, I need help setting up LFTP and the "cron job" to pull from the Seedbox to the Synology NAS.Īs a side note- would it be easier to set up the cron job on my Debian machine since the Synology media directory is mounted to it already? Everything locally is set up via gigabit ethernet, so that wouldn't be much of a bottleneck. It's possible this question is better suited for r/Synology, but for now, I figured I'd try my luck here to see if someone could help. Does apptrap 1.2.3 automatically move files tp trash how to#I came across "LFTP" several times on Reddit but cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to use LFTP and a "cron job" to essentially move the downloaded content from the seedbox's completed directories to my Synology NAS and then delete the moved content from the seedbox. I've looked into this and apparently this is a common issue with Resilio for some apparent reason so I've been looking into other options. Sometimes I can consistently get 50MB/s, sometimes it sits around 2MB/s - 10MB/s. Those completed media files are then sync'd with my local NAS using Resilio Sync, but I've been having nothing but speed issues with it. Both NZBGet and qBittorrent download the files, unpack (if necessary) and then store the downloaded content into their respective directory (usenet would be /usenet/completed/shows or /usenet/completed/movies & torrents would be /torrents/completed/shows or /torrents/completed/movies). I also have a seedbox at UltraSeedbox running both NZBGet and qBittorrent for the higher-speed downloads on their 20Gbps connection. If you want to deactivate its functions, you can do so from the “ System Preferences”.Currently running a little Plex media server on my local machine which stores all media files on a Synology NAS that's mounted to my local Debian server. Once active, AppTrap works in the background, detecting and eliminating, each time that you delete an application, all the related elements. Thus, the great advantage of this application is that it is capable of completely eliminating components that are usually associated to the applications that we run, and that would otherwise stay in the system making it slower and occupying space on our hard drive. But with an extra advantage: it eliminates any folder or file that can be associated with the application. AppTrap is an application “uninstaller” for Mac, that will allow you to perform this action in the easiest and most intuitive way, like always, by simply dragging the programs that we want to eliminate from our computer to the recycle bin.
